Unlocking Potential: Why Remtek Workplace Is Leading the Way in Neurodiversity Support

We’re thrilled to announce that Thomas Jackson, a valued member of the Remtek Workplace team, will be speaking at the upcoming Neurodiversity Show in Liverpool.

This event comes at the perfect time of year as we celebrate Neurodiversity Pride Day; a global celebration of the infinite variety of human minds. Held each year in June, it’s a day dedicated to recognising and valuing neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s and more.

This day encourages individuals, organisations and communities to embrace cognitive diversity, challenge stigma, and celebrate the strengths that come with thinking differently.

In a world that often tries to fit people into one mould, Neurodiversity Pride Day reminds us of the power and potential of individuality. By promoting understanding and inclusion, we help break down barriers and make space for everyone to thrive, not in spite of their differences, but because of them. This ethos lies at the heart of everything we do.

Thomas’ upcoming seminar, Unlocking Potential: The Benefits of Personalised Assistive Technology Training, will take place in Room 2 at 10:30 and promises to be an inspiring and informative session exploring how we support neurodviersitys through assisitve technology training.

In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, personalised assistive technology training is no longer a luxury – it’s a necessity. When training is tailored to an individual’s specific needs, it empowers them to make the most of their abilities, adapt with confidence, and feel truly supported in their work environment.

Thomas will explore the powerful impact of this approach and how it can transform the workplace experience for neurodivergent individuals.

Why Remtek Workplace Is Leading the Way in Neurodiversity Support

Recent government initiatives in the UK further underscore the importance of supporting neurodivergent individuals. For instance, the Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) programme, backed by £9.5 million in funding, aims to provide earlier and better support for neurodivergent children in mainstream primary schools. By training teachers to identify and meet the unique needs of each student, and by improving parental engagement, the programme seeks to foster inclusive environments where all children can succeed.

At Remtek Workplace, we understand that every individual is different and that’s something to be celebrated. Neurodiversity includes a wide range of cognitive profiles, from ADHD, autism and dyslexia to dyspraxia and more. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

Instead, our mission is to support people as individuals, helping them harness their strengths and overcome challenges with the right tools, training and understanding.
