Space-saving even with numerical keypad

The UltraBoard 960 is a compact standard keyboard that merges a space-saving design with an integrated numerical keypad. Positioned on the right side of the keyboard, this numerical keypad facilitates efficient number entry. Its compact size (80 mm narrower than conventional keyboards) allows you to work with your mouse hand closer to the keyboard, alleviating shoulder, neck, and back pain from reaching out wide to the mouse.

Ergonomic background

The distance between the keys ranges from 18 to 20 mm, adhering to ISO 9241 standards. The alphabetical section is clearly separated from the function keys, and the middle row of keys is no more than 30 mm above the desk surface (DIN 2137). The keyboard is tiltable and separate from the screen as mandated by the Council Directive 90/270/EEC. Dark letters on a light background improve readability (ISO 9241), boosting productivity (Snyder, 1990). The satin matt surface with dark lettering minimises reflections and enhances legibility, preventing eye strain.

Improved readability

The bright design with white keys facilitates an easy transition from viewing the bright monitor to the low-reflection keys with dark lettering. With a font size of 4 mm, the dark letters are easily recognisable, aiding faster typing. The contrast between the dark lettering and the light key background enhances readability and productivity.
