Remtek Workplace delivers practical assistive technology training that helps people use specialist software and ergonomic tools in real workplace tasks. We design personal learning plans, run one-to-one or group sessions and provide the follow-up resources needed to ensure new skills stick. Assistive technology removes barriers to reading, writing, organisation, communication, memory, speech, mobility, and sight. Our certified trainers teach workflows, not just features, so people can apply their tools immediately and confidently in their daily jobs.

How our training works

1. Session setup

Sessions are booked online or in-person based on your Access to Work award or internal workplace needs assessment. We check equipment and access requirements before training begins.

2. Individual Learning Plan (ILP)

Each session starts with an ILP to set clear goals, note specific needs, and choose the best software functions for the learner.

3. Training delivery

Hands-on training focuses entirely on the learner’s chosen software or hardware, tailored to their real daily tasks and delivered at a comfortable pace.

4. Review and update

The ILP is updated at the end of each session to record progress, note key outcomes and track confidence.

5. Next session

Trainers help book the next block of time and confirm all details directly with the learner.

6. Quality and support

All training follows strict quality and data standards, with resources available between sessions to ensure ongoing success.

What is the training format?

We understand that every person and business learns differently.  We provide flexible delivery options, available both Online (via secure video link) and onsite (face-to-face at your workplace).

Just finished my last session with Hafsa Aiyub. She is amazing she was so understanding and kind. She explained everything perfectly and in a lovely manner which was helpful because i have ADHD. If i was unsure she would repeat it and ask if i understood it.
